HVS uses 2.56 kWh modules and scales 5.1–12.8 kWh (2–5 modules). HVM uses 2.76 kWh modules and scales 8.3–22.1 kWh (3–8 modules). Pick HVM for anything above 12 kWh — parallel installations with HVS max at 5 modules per BMU.

Frequently asked questions

QIs the LVS Premium still available?

Yes but end-of-life — BYD is transitioning residential to the HV Premium platform. Buy LV only for retrofits to legacy low-voltage hybrid inverters.
